Cheri Gaudet is a health and empowerment coach who helps women to break free from emotional eating and body shame, so that they can finally adopt the healthy habits they need to flourish. Cheri also helps people of all genders who have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes to adjust to their new-normal lifestyle, so that they can live stronger, longer, healthier lives.

"In 2021, I nearly broke my body to run two marathons, because my idea of fitness was so tied up with performance and the way my body looked," said Cheri. "Additionally, all that training did nothing to solve my emotional eating problem. By the time I completed my health coaching certificate, my perspective was completely transformed. I no longer struggle with emotional eating, I absolutely love the body I have, and I know how to eat and move my body to support my optimal health. Now I'm making it my mission to share this approach with others and offer the gift of actual hope."

Cheri offers free Personal Empowerment Sessions to those who want to:

· explore their vision for their health and the impact that would have on their lives;

· discover what's getting in the way; and

· identify the next step they need to take to make their vision a reality.

Granite United Way, New Hampshire’s largest United Way, is dedicated to creating healthy communities where every child succeeds in school and every individual and family is financially stable. Together, they mobilize people, organizations, and resources in a focused effort to help communities learn, earn and be healthy throughout New Hampshire and Windsor County, Vermont.

Granite United Way has the expertise, trust, and scope to bring together stakeholders like local nonprofits, government, businesses, private foundations, and volunteers with the common goal of delivering total community impact. The leadership at the organization recognizes that no one agency has the ability to solve complex issues in our community, but together we can address these issues.

One of the many ways Granite United Way supports the community is through annual workplace campaign. Small businesses, major corporations, and even nonprofit partners support Granite United Way’s annual fundraising through workplace campaign efforts. Participating in a workplace campaign gives employees the opportunity to learn about the needs of their community and provides a convenient way to donate a portion of their paycheck towards issues that matter most to them. Granite United Way is also fortunate to have the support of generous individual donors who share a mutual vision to improve the lives of our neighbors.

J.R. Heald Builders, LLC, of Barrington specializes in custom home building, interior and exterior remodeling and decks. The Heald family has been crafting wood for four generations, passing the knowledge of quality craftsmanship necessary to create beautiful works down through years of apprenticeship and partnership.

“My training as a builder started as soon as I could lift a hammer,” says Justin Heald. “I would tag along with my father to his projects for as long as I can remember. He would lean down or look back and give me advice on how best to pull out a stubborn nail or straighten a crooked board. My years as an apprentice have given me an advantage in both quality and efficiency that would be hard to replicate.”

J.R. Heald Builders, LLC, works with clients to determine exactly what they envision for their new home, addition or unique custom project and make it a reality. Visit them at www.healdbuilders.com or call 603-664-5040.
