Census Bureau: 81.6% of people in Strafford County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 130,598 citizens living in Strafford County in 2021, 81.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 106,617 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 52,018 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 54,599 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Strafford County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 81%.
