Dover Arts Commission presents “Keep Dover Wild,” seeks artists
0Comments

On Saturday, May 14, the Dover Arts Commission will present “Keep Dover Wild,” during which wildflowers will pop up all over downtown. Businesses may sign up to have their windows decorated for free with spring flowers by talented local artists. Artists may sign up to paint native New Hampshire blooms, such as the Pink Lady Slipper and lilacs, on storefronts creating a corridor of flowers down Central Avenue. All chosen artists will receive a small stipend and materials.

Keep Dover Wild takes place during Dover Pride Clean Up Day. The public may participate by volunteering to help distribute supplies, set up, clean up and cheer.

Businesses, artists and volunteers may sign up at: https://forms.gle/vTUVWLhiUDHUActX8.

The Dover Arts Commission promotes the arts in Dover, advocates for artists, highlights local talent, and engages the Dover community. Learn more about the Arts Commission at https://www.dover.nh.gov/government/boards-and-commissions/arts-commission/.
