Wentworth-Douglass Hospital is proud to announce that board-certified rheumatologist, Anthony Ippolito, DO, has joined Wentworth-Health Partners Seacoast Arthritis & Osteoporosis.

Ippolito has worked as a staff rheumatologist for over 11 years, most recently working at Access Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics in Portsmouth, N.H., and as a visiting rheumatologist at Omni Medical in Paget, Bermuda.

Ippolito also worked as a staff rheumatologist at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H., and staff rheumatologist at Susquehanna Health Medical Group in Williamsport, PA

Ippolito was named a “Top Doctor, Rheumatologist” by New Hampshire Magazine in 2020. He has been involved in multiple medical publications and government research projects involving systemic lupus erythematosus and other autoimmune diseases.

Ippolito earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Ippolito went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, N.Y., and completed his rheumatology fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.

Ippolito also completed specialized training as a Lupus Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University Hospital in Baltimore, Md.

Ippolito will see patients at Wentworth Health Partners at Seacoast Arthritis & Osteoporosis, located at 10 Members Way, Suite 403, in Dover, N.H.
