City administrative offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4, 2023, for the Independence Day holiday. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, July 5.

The Public Library will be closed on Sunday, July 2, Monday, July 3, and Tuesday, July 4.

The Fitness Center, located at the McConnell Center, will be closed on Tuesday, July 4.

The Dover Arena will be closed Saturday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 4.

The Dover Community Senior Center will be closed Saturday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 4.

The Dover Indoor Pool and Jenny Thompson Outdoor Pool will be open for scheduled activities only from Friday, June 30, through Tuesday, July 4. For a list of scheduled activities and hours, visit the Recreation Department’s website.

Inspection Services at the Liberty North End Fire Station will be closed on Tuesday, July 4. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, July 5.

Trash and recycling pick-up schedules will be delayed by one day beginning Tuesday, July 4. Trash and recycling pickup will occur as scheduled on Monday, July 3. There is no curbside pick-up on Tuesday, July 4. For more information, contact Community Services at 603-516-6450.

The Recycling Center on Mast Road will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Regular hours resume on Thursday, July 6, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Independence Day, Tuesday, July 4, is a parking holiday. Metered parking is not required on parking holidays in most locations, except for the Parking Garage, which is metered parking at all times, or where otherwise noted.
