Family Nurse Practitioner Marissa Parlee joined the staff of Wentworth Health Partners Adult & Children’s Medicine of Dover on May 2, 2022.

Parlee has been with Wentworth-Douglass Hospital since 2020, previously working as a registered nurse in the post-anesthesia care unit.

Parlee attended American International College in Springfield, Mass., where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Parlee furthered her studies at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, N.H., where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner in 2021.

Prior to her time at Wentworth-Douglass, Parlee worked as a registered nurse in the post-anesthesia care unit at Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria, VA.  Parlee also worked in a surgical trauma ICU at a level 1 trauma center in Georgia and Neuro ICUs in Virginia and at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Parlee became a nurse practitioner to work with patients throughout their lifecycle and has a special interest in pediatrics, family care, and women’s health.
