SEACOAST NH — Seacoast Dermatology welcomes Megan Metheny, NP-C to their growing team of medical providers. Metheny treats adults and adolescents, and is currently accepting new patients in Exeter and Portsmouth, NH.

A board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Metheny’s specialized experience provides additional perspective when treating older dermatology patients. As an integral care team member, Metheny works closely with doctors to diagnose and prescribe effective dermatologic treatments. Her focus areas include skin cancer detection and other women’s health issues including adult acne, gynecologic dermatology (GYN dermatology), hair loss, nutrition and anti-aging. 

Megan states; “I enjoy working with patients through life stages and effectively treating the variety of skin issues they may encounter as they age. My goal is to ensure patients are aging in a healthy way and are maintaining maximum function and quality of life. Collaborating with our care team members on which treatment approach is most effective for my patients is invaluable.”

Megan was graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors, with an emphasis on dermatology, primary care and holistic medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in West Hartford, Connecticut, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. She advanced her practical clinical skills with previous positions at The Vascular Experts, Exeter Hospital in New Hampshire and Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) in New Haven, Connecticut.
