77 percent of applicants to the University of New Hampshire-Main Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of New Hampshire-Main Campus, 97 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Durham enrolled 15,298 students in fall 2018, including 12,815 in undergraduate and 2,483 in graduate programs, data shows. 3.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

42 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Hampshire, and 58 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (82 percent) and Asian (3 percent).

The school admitted 77 percent of the 20,096 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
