Summer Reading Tails & Tales

Madbury Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Calendar of Events :

Mondays at 10:30- Story Time on the Lawn (weather permitting) in the event of inclement weather, check out our virtual library for recorded story times! Story Times will run June 28-July 26

Wednesdays- STEAM To Go- Stop by and pick up a fun, do it yourself STEAM activity in a bag! 

Thursdays at 10:30- Special joint programs with the Lee and Durham Libraries! These events will be virtual and registration will be required. Go to durhampubliclibrary.org to register for events. 

Special Virtual Events :

July 1 at 10:30- Kick off

Join us for an interactive balloon magic show with Jungle Jim! 

July 8 at 10:30- WIld Life Encounters

Learn about a variety of unique animals and see them up close from your screen at home! 

July 15 at 10:30- Drawing Workshop with the Eric Carle Museum

Celebrate drawing in this hands-on virtual workshop! Carle Art Educators will facilitate a series of drawing games designed to spark the creative process and encourage storytelling. 

July 22 at 10:30 OR 11:30- Turtle Time with Seacoast Science Center

Get to know Raspberry, the three-toed box turtle!

July 29 at 10:30- Finale

Enjoy a performance by children's musician, storyteller, and comedian, Keith Munslow! 

 

Registration for the Summer Reading Program begins June 14! Sign up in person at the library, or participate online with ReadSquared.

If you already have a ReadSquared account, you can log in and enroll in the Summer Reading Program that matches your age group.
