University of New Hampshire Athletics issued the following announcement on July 30.
The 2020-21 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team earned 26 selections to the America East Academic Honor Roll. Eighteen Wildcats earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, while eight were named to the Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a spring semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
Drew Blackwell (Wilmington, Del.) and Luke Madden (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) each posted a perfect 4.0 in the spring semester and were named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Liam Bennett (Concord, N.H.), Ben Bowers (Liverpool, N.Y.), Michael Clow (Leola, Pa.), Clay Courtmanche (West Hartford, Conn.), Ladd-Patrick Fagerson (Medway, Mass.), Linus Fallberg (Jonkoping, Sweden), Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minn.), Jacob Gould (Exeter, N.H.), Sam Henneberg (Guildford, England), Adi Hicks (Derry, N.H.), Billy Jones (Ellington, Conn.), Bilal Kamal (London, England), Dylan Maxon (Clifton Park, N.Y.), Bruno Piva de Castro (São Paulo, Brazil), Adam Savill (Manchester, England) and Diego Toribio (Herencia, Spain) also all received Commissioner's Honor Roll accolades.
Being recognized on the Honor Roll were Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy), Bridger Hansen (Cottonwood Heights, Utah), Paul Mayer (Strasbourg, France), Victor Menudier (Limoges, France), Rory O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn.), Alejandro Robles (Monterey, Mexico), Tola Showunmi (Enfield, England) and Jonny Wolf (Hopkinton, Mass.).
The Wildcats posted an outstanding 3.56 grade point average as a team for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Wildcats concluded the Spring 2021 season with an 8-1-1 (.850) overall record, posting the best winning percentage in program history and were ranked No. 19 in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll of the season. UNH captured its third straight America East Tournament championship, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season. The Wildcats outscored their opposition by a 22-8 margin and earned their highest national ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Poll in program history at No. 10 on April 13. UNH is 48-11-11 (.764) over the last four seasons.
