City of Dover issued the following announcement on August 31.
Dover's Open Lands Committee and First Light Habitats will hold "Places for Pollinators: Creating habitat for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds" on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 9 to 11 a.m. The talk will be held at Riverside Gardens, 201 Tolend Road.
The talk will feature Deb Perkins from First Light Habitats, who will discuss identification, ecology and habitat needs of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. The event will feature a 45-minute indoor presentation, followed by a pollinator garden tour. Masks and comfortable walking shoes are encouraged.
