City of Dover issued the following announcement on September 20.

The City Council meets for its second regular meeting of the month on Wednesday, Sept. 22.

On the agenda is a public hearing on a resolution that would adopt a fiscal year 2022 general fund budget amendment to appropriate $1,561,230 in additional state education aid to be received by the school district. These unanticipated funds result from the State of New Hampshire biennial budget adopted on June 24, 2021. The City Council adopted the City of Dover’s FY 2022 budget on June 2, 2021. This resolution requires a two-thirds vote by the Council to pass. The City Council is expected to vote on the resolution following the public hearing.

The Council will also refer a FY 2022 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) appropriation and bonding request for the Pudding Hill water treatment plant for a public hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 13, with an anticipated City Council vote on Wednesday, Oct. 27.

The complete agenda can be viewed here: City Council Agenda, Wednesday, Sept. 22.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in City Hall’s Council Chambers. It will be broadcast live on Channel 22 and available for on-demand viewing at https://dovernh.viebit.com.
