City of Dover: Public works crew sealing pavement cracks on numerous streets

City of Dover issued the following announcement on October 13.

Community Service workers are sealing cracks in the pavement on numerous streets. The work began today, Oct. 13 and likely will continue into early next week.

The roads that are slated for crack sealing include:

  • All of Sixth Street
  • All of Stark Avenue
  • Chestnut Street, from Central Avenue to Cochehco River bridge
  • Third Street, from Chestnut Street to Frances Drive
If funding and materials allow, the work crew will seal pavement cracks on:

  • Back River Road and Piscataqua Road
Work areas may be reduced to one travel lane alternated by flaggers. There will also be parking restrictions in the work area.
