Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on November 5.
Ricardo Plata, PA-C, has joined Wentworth-Douglass Hospital as a Physician Assistant at Wentworth Health Partners South Berwick Family Practice and is accepting new patients.
Plata recently joined Wentworth-Douglass after eight years working in internal medicine at the Alameda Health Network in California where he used telemedicine to continue providing for patients during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to that, he worked at the Plazita Medical Clinic in Watsonville, California, a private family medicine/urgent care clinic.
Plata has a national certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the only certifying organization for PAs in the country.
Patients 13 years of age and older can book appointments with Plata at South Berwick Family Practice. It caters to the entire family’s health care needs from newborns to seniors – offering outstanding primary care and preventative health care.
