City of Dover issued the following announcement on January 17.
The City Council and School Board will meet for a joint workshop this Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m. The meeting is scheduled for Room 305 of the McConnell Center.
The workshop will include a briefing from the Dover legislative delegation members, who will provide a legislative session overview. The briefing also provides an opportunity for City Council and School Board members to share any of its priorities with the delegation.
The Ordinance Committee and Planning Department staff will discuss the ward redistricting proposal selected by the Ordinance Committee on Dec. 20. The City Council has referred the proposal to a public hearing and possible vote on Wednesday, Jan. 26.
The last agenda items of the joint workshop are related to the fiscal year 2023 budget. One part is an analysis of the fiscal year 2023 budget tax cap; the other is a discussion of the development of the budget.
