Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce: HRCU names Eric Palmer Mortgage Operations Manager

Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on January 27.

HRCU is pleased to announce the hiring of Eric Palmer in the newly created position of Mortgage Originations Manager. In this role Eric will be responsible for overseeing a team of experienced mortgage originators and assisting them with new mortgage loan offerings such as first-time homebuyers and government loans. Eric’s focus will also be strengthening the already strong relationship we have with our members and real estate professionals.

Eric is a graduate of the University of Maine and has worked in the mortgage industry for the past nine years. He began his career as a loan officer in Bangor Maine until his move to Dover four years ago. Most recently he served as a Senior Mortgage Loan Officer for Citizens Bank.

“Eric brings a great deal of mortgage loan experience to HRCU and we’re very excited to have him lead our team of mortgage originators”, said President and CEO Brian Hughes. “Our focus is to provide great service to our members whether they are refinancing or purchasing a new home. We have a long history in the local mortgage lending market and are excited to be expanding our services and reach in the seacoast community.”

Born and raised in Bangor, Eric and his wife Amanda now live in Rochester. They both enjoy spending time with family and friends, spending time outside, and traveling.
