Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 30.
The Seacoast Educational Endowment of Dover (“SEED”), a nonprofit organization dedicated to lifting academic excellence in Dover schools by providing funding for innovative curriculum, professional development, and classroom equipment, is excited to announce it has received a $500 donation from Holy Rosary Credit Union (“HRCU”).
With branches across Dover, Rochester, and Farmington, HRCU is a responsible, community-focused organization; members can trust to help them achieve their financial goals by demonstrating compassion, embracing innovation, remaining flexible and delivering exceptional service. “As a parent and a community member, I am so appreciative of HRCU’s support of the Dover public school system,” said Natalie Koellmer, Chair SEED Board of Directors. “Business support is a critical component to SEED’s ability to continue providing this level of funding.”
SEED is celebrating its 10th year supporting Dover public school teachers and administrators by funding grant requests for academic programs. SEED is preparing for its annual fundraiser where it raises the bulk of its giving budget through business and individual support. The annual auction will be held April 11-22, 2022.
