Layne Case receives Excellence in Historic Preservation Award

56

On Saturday, April 30, Layne Case of AMITY Publications received the Excellence in Historic Preservation Award from the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution for the book “Blame It On Revere!” written by Angela Welch.

Welch and Case went to high school together. Thanks to Facebook, they reconnected two years ago after 48 years.

"I was thrilled to be involved in helping her get published," Case said. "Her books are fabulous and they are in historical museums, bookstores, many schools in NH, as well as at the Visitors Center at the State Capitol."

Case also published her second book “The Colors of New Hampshire” and is presently working on Welch's third book “Mr. Washington’s Granite State Vacation.”
