A workshop focused on the rules and regulations for selling meat, poultry, dairy products, and eggs at New Hampshire farmers markets is scheduled to take place online on two dates in February and March 2026. The event aims to inform participants about the latest requirements for these products and provide guidance on maintaining food safety from processing through sale.

The speakers for the workshop are Ann Hamilton, Food Safety Field Specialist at UNH Cooperative Extension, and Royann Bossidy, Food Safety & Defense Specialist with NH DHHS – Food Protection.

According to organizers, “This workshop will cover the latest rules and regulations surrounding selling meat, including rabbit, poultry, dairy products, and eggs at New Hampshire Farmers Markets. Interspersed with the rules and regulations, there will be tips on keeping these items safe from the time you process to the point of sale.”

The sessions are offered at no cost but require preregistration. Participants can join via Zoom using a computer or phone.
