The Falls Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on August 26.
Concord, NH – In accordance with the President's proclamation, Governor Chris Sununu has directed flags on all public buildings and grounds in the State of New Hampshire to fly at half-staff beginning immediately until sunset, August 30, 2021, in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.
"The news of today’s horrific terrorist attack in Kabul is heartbreaking," said Governor Chris Sununu. "Valerie and I join with all Granite Staters in praying for those who lost their lives serving our country and their families. Words cannot express how grateful we are for their service and sacrifice."
